It’s well known that the long-term trading is safer and more profitable than short-term trading. For someone like me who has agoal of living off trading, would be possible to have a decent monthly earning by working only with long term positional trading methodology? Shouldn’t I have an account of at least 10,000? Should I mix different trading styles?

Short term and long term both are essential part of trading. But there is a less chance of earning more profit in short term trading. Whereas, long term trading gives a good portion of profit if a trader has patience. If a trader needs to earn more profit, he/she should follow long term trade and have patience.

You are right, long term trading is the best in terms of manual trading for humans. However in order to make money using this approach, you must not be undercapitalized. Multiple assets and portfolio should be a way to go in order to get more reliable signals. A mix trading style should also be deployed.
