I ask you experts: what is the better time to put the trade at Break Even?
Usually when I reach a 1:1 Risk-reward ratio, I move my stop at Break Even.
Others begin to protect capital when Reward reaches 0.7. What do you do in this situation?
For breakeven strategy, I often follow a price action approach. If I anticipate an uptrend to continue, I usually set my breakeven point as soon as there is a technical low above my entry price in the direction of the trend. I often prefer to close a percentage of my open position at 1:1 Risk-reward ratio.
